Short, but sweet.....

Spending my last few days in India was better spent outside of India.....Took off to Nepal on Saturday morning, after a night of partying with my co-workers...many of whom were leaving for their home countries that night. Me...I went to the hills to see my burly French-Canadian man who had recently driven up to Kathmandu all the way from Bangalore on his Enfield motorbike. We met there, hung out in the city, and then drove into the Himilayas to a resort about 3 hours from Kat. Sleeping in a luxurious tent, climbing up to a village, taking a sauna in the forest....I return to Canada tomorrow morning after an in-between trip to ease my way out of India......not sure when i'll return...

Top two: A picture of Kathmandu, and a picture of the himalayas
From left: Boys getting their haircut on a Monday morning in a mountain village; me and Hugo having some breakfast in Kathmandu; A Tibetan? temple in the mountians; Little baby checking us out as we pass by; me and Hugo on the large bridge that we had to cross up to the resort - to give you an idea of how high the bridge was...the resort conducts bungee jumps off it into the canyon! (hooray for hugo - who does not like heights, but crossed it courageously...); Tibetan prayer flags tied to the bridge; A village man walking through rice fields on the side of the mountain.
